The Lake Superior
region is truly magnificent.
The region has a wide variety of geologic phenomenon that entice
and inspire rock hounds like me. The mining area has left behind huge piles of
dug-up treasure along with the glaciers that moved through about five thousand
years ago which dumped a lot of Canada's rocks around here.

are some of the most beautiful in the world. They are found on the beach, in gravel
pits and in some rare cases even on the edge of the road.
